GrandCherokee Diesel Emissions Lawsuit. First time posting here. I am one of the owners involved in the class action lawsuit regarding FCAs diesel emissions cheat. Back in March, I had been informed from the law firm that it oughtta be wrapping up sometime this summer. Out of the blue today, a man called from the dealership i Jeeps dedication to ensuring vehicle compliance and performance led to the issuance of a Customer Satisfaction Notification for the 2014 through 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee – W41. This notification specifically applies to vehicles equipped with a 3.0L diesel engine, encompassing those that had undergone an emission recall earlier.
Mainbearing failed after 80.000 km / 50.000 miles. Hi there from Australia, I am one of the unlucky ones with fatal engine damage to my 2015 GC Eco diesel. Car did only 80.000 km and had all services. It happened 2500 km after my last service. Oil filter is full of metal and dealer tell me the main bearings are gone.
Thegas gauge is off by about 1/4 tank. When I fill the tank and the gauge hits the full mark it still takes another 5-6 gallons. Filling from the 3/4 mark it takes 10 - 11 gallons on a 23 gallon tank. Jeep is telling me that the digital dashboard is reading the fuel in Liters not gallons and that is why my gauge is off by approximately 1/4 tank.

1post · Joined 2022. #2 · Feb 3, 2022. My 2016 Jeep GC EcoDiesel began presenting with a shuddering/shaking today - hence why I've taken to the web for diagnostic troubleshooting. My current problem doesn't manifest as described by TSB 09-004-17. I noticed a pronounced lateral (side-to-side) shudder while at idle (800-1000 rpm).

Theproblem is with the exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, which could crack and result in a fire. Owners of the affected Grand Cherokees will be notified . 3 255 378 186 37 208 76 70 114
