Having ridden the 1299 Panigale and new BMW 1000XR both fitted with quick shifters and auto blippers I think Ducati have missed a trick by not fitting them to the new Multi. However when I mentioned it to the dealer I'm told that Multi gearbox has larger clearances so won't suit a quick shifter. #4 Majvs, Jun 1, 2015. Agree x 2.

The biggest difference I saw/felt was where the torque comes in between the 17 and 18’. It was noticable to me that the torque on the 1260 was about 750-1000 revs earlier than on the previous 1200 DVT. I had the 18’ for a couple of days and got to ride it on twisty roads against the previous year models.
