The materials are very subjective, but certains are better on the 8th gen and some are better on the 7th gen. If your looking for alot of cup holders like the 7th gen, the 8th gen has lost the ones in the door. lol. So overall I think they are about even, you get something but you also lose something.
You are experiencing brake pedal pulsation. Possibly due to "warped" rotors but also could be the result of a bad wheel hub or a poor mating between the hub surface and the rotor. It would be good to check first for lateral runout before replacing any parts. You can do this yourself or have someone else do it for you if you don't have a dial

Three weeks later one of the tensioner assembly bolts sheared off at the engine block rendering the car with inop alt/ps. Took the car to Honda and they replaced the tensioner (alt/ps) assembly and used new bolts. Two months later the bolt sheared again. Took the car back to Honda who fixed it for free with new assembly and new bolts.
